Link Hall Effect Sensor Kit - 101-0280
A non-contact Hall effect gear tooth sensor for crank, cam and wheel speed sensing. Adaptive dynamic threshold technology compensates for changes in target geometry and air gap, giving reliable position and speed detection from near zero speed up to 15 kHz.
Suits: All Link ECUs and other aftermarket ECUs.
Includes: Hall effect sensor, DTM3 connector kit (male and female), printed accessory instructions.
Specifications
- Open collector (sinking current) output
- Near-zero speed sensing, maximum tooth frequency 15 kHz
- Typical air gap: 1.5 mm
- Operating temperature -40°C to +125°C, IP67 rated
- Anodised aluminium housing, 1 m flying lead (20 AWG / 0.5 mm²)
- Wiring: brown = supply voltage, blue = sensor ground, black = output to ECU
- Operating voltage 5-24 V, maximum input voltage 30 V, maximum continuous current draw 6 mA
- Dimensions: 120 x 15 x 15 mm (4.72 x 0.59 x 0.59 in)
- Weight: 50 g (1.76 oz)
Notes
- Designed to read ferrous trigger wheels and gear teeth.
- Needs an external pull-up resistor unless the ECU input has an internal pull-up.
- Follow the recommended target dimensions and air gap, and use shielded cable to avoid interference.
