Link WRX4X Plug-In ECU (Subaru WRX & STI V3-4) - 227-4000

The WRX4X is a G4X plug-in ECU for the Version 3 and 4 Subaru WRX. It fits the factory ECU location using the original mounts, loom and connectors, keeps a stock appearance and ships with a startup map, with no wiring changes or adapters.

You get Link's G4X platform and PCLink software with the full set of tuning and motorsport functions.

Suits: Subaru WRX Version 3 (GC8D, EJ20, 1996-1997) and Version 4 (GC8E, EJ20, 1997-1998). Manual transmission.

Includes: G4X WRX4X plug-in ECU, anti-static strap, USB tuning cable, Link stickers, plug-in manual card, product registration card.

Notes

• Check that your connector matches the header shown in the photos before ordering.
• An air temperature sensor is highly recommended.
• E-throttle is not usable until the ECU is modified.
• Automatic models: ask us about Direct Automatic Transmission Control.
• Most factory features are supported. Not for use where it would interfere with a vehicle's safety or emission control features. Link recommends installation and setup by an official Link dealer.
