Radium Engineering Fuel Cell Foam One Piece - 18-0066

Radium Engineering 18-0066 fuel cell foam. Reticulated polyurethane explosion suppression foam for Radium RA-Series fuel cells, also listed by Radium as universal for any fuel cell or tank.

• Reticulated polyurethane foam that meets MIL-DTL-83054C Type-II
• Nominal 15 pores per inch. Each piece displaces about 0.07 gallons (9 oz) of fuel
• Limits fuel aeration to keep fuel delivery steady at the pickup
• Reduces fuel movement during cornering, acceleration and braking
• Displaces fuel vapors to lower explosion risk
• Inspect after each race season and replace at least every three seasons
• Tested with ethanol and methanol with no deterioration. More frequent inspection is recommended with alcohol fuels

• Radium RA-Series fuel cells. Pieces per cell: 6 gallon, 2 pieces (cut each end 4.95 in shorter); 10 gallon, 2 pieces (no modification); 10.5 gallon spare tire, 2 pieces (each cut into 3 sections); 14 gallon, 3 pieces (one cut in half lengthwise); 22 gallon, 5 pieces (one cut in half lengthwise).
